It’s been about 6 months since I posted something on Xanga. Much has changed since 6 months.

1.       I am getting fatter which is not good since a lot of my clothes don’t fit and I don’t like shopping. Most of the time I go about my business naked. Please donate to Charles’ clothing fund.

2.       I have moved out from the ghettos of Korea Town to ghettos of N. Hollywood. I have traded the gun shots for soju shots at home.

3.       Now I am a father of two (2) Eunbi and Toby. Toby is my youngest. I can honestly say they are more obedient than some dogs. This comes with a lot of treats and a lot of beatings (these are my cats).  I am joking about a lot of beatings; I only beat them like twice a day haha jk.

4.       I have realized and accepted the fact that I have turned into an ahjushee (old Korean man).

5.       My weekends comprise of sleep, costco, and movies.

If I haven’t contacted you within the 6 months you are not important enough for me to bother. Haha I am just playing around. I miss you all and hope you are doing well. Congrats to all my brother who got married this year and hope you are enjoying the married life, suckers!!!

Do you remember when we were like 13 years old playing games and riding our bikes around the block? When sleep over turn into playing Nintendo / Sega Genesis / Neo Geo (for the rich little kids) all night and watching illegal channels that we should not have watched like HBO late nights and Show Time late nights (if you say NO you are a liar). There were no worries in life, but making sure you get good grades to get your parents off your back and worried about making that Varsity Team your freshman year, so you show off your letterman jacket. We would not eat during lunch so we can save all our lunch money so you can buy that $110 Air Jordan’s or Air Max (for guys) and those clubbing outfits (for the girls, you would tell your mom that you are going to a church sleep over and pack up your club outfit and go out).  When we were 16 years old (just got your driver’s license) turning 25 was centuries away. Well in reality we are that age and time is flying by. Every year seems to come around faster and seems like everyone is settling down around me.

After attending my friends wedding in Chicago it hit me that we are all getting older and everyone is looking to settle down. I attended about 8 weddings this year and I have more coming next year if everyone’s plan goes well. It a reality that most of my friends and I will be married and have kids within the next 5 to 6 years (that is scary thing to think about).

Sorry, I just wrote this because I was looking at some old jr high / high school pictures.

This weekend I decided to get out of LA. Just to get away from the busy life style of Ktown was great for me. Although, the weather in Irvine wasn¡¯t better than LA the large roads and quiet atmosphere was something I needed.

I got to catch the movie ¡°Lady in the Water¡± yesterday and realized how comical it was. Trust me it¡¯s not scary at all but extremely NASTY!!! I was laughing through out the whole movie. If you want a comic relief go watch this movie but do not have a high expectation for it. I just thought it was funny that they actually cast listed ¡°Korean¡± actresses to play the Koreans. There is a whole lot of Korean speaking in that movie. Hahaha

its a COMEDY i TELL you!!!

I never realized the power of love. Love can even tame the most untamable beast. I realized how a person can change in the name of Love. What makes this so?

Can a person change so drastically for someone? Is there a compromise in love or is it unconditional love forever? If I have to hear about one more wedding this year I am going to puke.

I think I am still very young to think about marriage but I realized how expensive it is and I need to start saving up.. puhahahaha. Anyone want to donate to Charles¡¯ marriage fund?
